Not enough information to help you. You don't tell us anything here.

What is the driver? RPM? tarball?

There MUST be some documentation on the Alacatel Website somewhere. Ask
them.

Or give us more information. We're not mind-readers.

I think I've seen you ask this before and you got no response as I remember
then. I would feel this is because you're being way too vague. Make sure
when you post to this list you do not simply ask us 'I did this now how do I
do that?'. Make sure you tell us EXACTLY. For starters...what is the file
called? Does it end with .rpm or .tar.gz?

If the latter, you need to go to the Linux Documentation Project and read
the Administrator Guide, as it tells you how to handle tarballs.
