Hi All,
I did some searches and can't find a solution to my problem. My logrotate is not rotating. I am sure that it is something simple that I am not doing/configuring. This is running under version 7.3.
Here is my logrotate.conf:
cat logrotate.conf
# see "man logrotate" for details
# rotate log files weekly
weekly
# keep 4 weeks worth of backlogs
rotate 4
# create new (empty) log files after rotating old ones
create
# uncomment this if you want your log files compressed
compress
# RPM packages drop log rotation information into this directory
include /etc/logrotate.d
# no packages own wtmp -- we'll rotate them here
/usr/logs/wtmp {
monthly
create 0664 root utmp
rotate 1
}
# system-specific logs may be also be configured here.
/usr/logs/as5300.log /usr/logs/pix.log /usr/logs/cisco.log /usr/logs/wug.log {
compress
sharedscripts
olddir /usr/logs/network.old
postrotate
/bin/kill -HUP `cat /var/run/syslogd.pid`
endscript
}
Anyone that can point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mitch
