Bluecurve is not Gnome-specific. It also exists under KDE. What makes RH
8.0 so special and unique at the same time is the fact, that the rpm
package "redhat-menues-xyz.rpm" sets logos and menu entried for both
worlds - KDE and Gnome.

As I am not a very experienced Gnome user, I can only tell my
experiences with KDE. There "Bluecurve" is only a style for displaying
windows and fonts. You can deselect it and use the original KDE style.
The same with the curious icons I'm not friend with. The only thing
remaining are the fonts. Up to now I was not able to get the old ones
from RH 7.3.

Remember: even the login screnn and the splash screen my be replaced by
individual themes. Bluecurve is only a first attempt to unique both
worlds - Gnome and KDE. It is not a must.

If you make any further experience especially under Gnome, please let me
know!

Regards,
Arthur Miller
