I've been successful with installing Oracle 8.1.7.0.1 and RedHat 7.3. Using these instructions as my baseline I've been able to install Oracle on multiple systems quickly and easily. They are stable. In fact I have one running in production now. Guess management felt it was stable enough to take our pounding :-) The instructions for Oracle 9 do not mention a need for the 6.2 compatibility libraries so I'm hoping it's no longer required. FYI.. Oracle metalink site will tell you that 9.x is not certified in Linux at this time. Heck, 8.1.7 isn't certified either but it works great :D Good Luck! -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=unsubscribe https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
