sorry i can't reccomend a tv caputre card, but can UNreccomend one.  i have an 
ati all-in-wonder radeon.  the capture quality is great and so is the 3d 
acceleration... in windows.

linux support for it destestable.  the gatos project (gatos.sourceforge.net) 
has drivers and everything for download but comes with little or no 
documentation.  unless you wrote the software, good luck at making it work 
for you.

let me know if you ever get a decent dvr setup in linux kay?  'cause i'd like 
to know what card i should buy next time...
