I'm probably be reaching here, but has anyone tried to get a Avermedia AverTV USB TV Tuner device working on Redhat, especially 8.0? Avermedia doesn't appear to have any support for Linux on their website.
I'm interested in trying to setup a DVR to see how it works. Can anyone recommend a capture card that is easy to install and can be used as a DVR? I'm referring to this site for the DVR: http://dvr.sourceforge.net. If there are other DVR approaches, I'm interested in that too.
