Are eth0 and eth2 the same brand network card? Do you know the type of the integrated eth card?
The most important thing here is that you load the drivers for your network card (whether compiled into the kernel or as modules). Make sure your kernel supports your card because if it doesn't ie. if you haven't compiled in support, then you'd not going to get this working.
