I've got a HP 970CSE at the house and it works great for me. I've printed out .jpg's that are scanned pictures and that's worked okay. I haven't tested some of the advanced functionality yet, but so far its good stuff.
I don't know what the cost of this unit might be though, or how the new
3xxxx series matches up.

I just had a windows printer die and want to get a nice
