Don't know why not. It certainly does handle SCSI and RAID arrays that
are much larger that 8 megs. The only thing to look out for (as far as
I know) is that certain IDE controllers have upper limits for the size
of hard drive that they will allow. So make sure you don't have one of
those on your box. But Linux shouldn't have any problem with it.
