Hi,

I've been trying to upgrade a ncurses on a 4.2 machine to
ncurses-4.1-12.i386.rpm. I get the following error:

ncurses ################unpacking of archive failed on file
/usr/lib/terminfo: -2147483639: Operation not permitted
error: ncurses-4.1-12.i386.rpm cannot be installed

I tried forcing once before, and I caused nothing but trouble. :-\ Is
there another RPM I should be upgrading first? (Note: I have already
upgraded RPM to 2.5.1-0.) How can I get past this error?

TIA!

PS: I had gotten a message saying this message went undelivered yesterday,
so I'm reposting today. Hope it makes it through! :-)
