"Home users should also regularly update their personal
computer's operating systems (such as Microsoft Windows,
 Linux) and major applications ..."

I am wary of this kind of association that MS is desperately trying to pull
off. It is a 'win' that Linux is associated as a Desktop OS, but it is a
vile misrepresentation to hang it on the same nail as 98/ME/XP Home.

You'll also notice a MS tilt here. That the burden of responsibility for
secure computing comes not from the maker of the code, but the person
operating that code. This is a subtitle shift that MS has tried to put
forth all along. (It's not an 'email' worm, it's an 'outlook/outlook
express' worm)

Be wary of the attention that Linux is getting, as MS is trying to swipe it
with a VERY big brush.

I'm not Anti-MS either, I am disappointed with ALL the buggy code I find
(Netbackup 3.4GA comes to mind RIGHT off - on Solaris 8 yet...), and with
the professionals I know of that work diligently to produce quality code,
it's amazing to me that there is so much bogus code out there.

Just my .02 (well, okay more of a rant...)
