Hello!
I have been searching hours long to get some information on APM support
in Linux, but I couldnt find any usable information. Since I have
changed my motherboard (and processor and video card :)), APM is not
working.
The startup log has a line: 'apm: BIOS not found', which is suprising.I
have and Abit SR7-8X, which is pretty new to have APM support, but I
have checked the docs of it to make sure.
It says it has APM 1.3 through the AMI BIOS. So what could be the
problem?
Is the AMI BIOS not supported, or the chipset too new, or what? (The AGP
driver isn't working either, because SiS648 is not supported yet)
