you need to mount the filesystem, I doubt XMMS has built in samba support. smbmount is the usual command though it may not be installed by default. according to the manpage for mount ... >> Mount options for smbfs Just like nfs, the smb implementation expects a binary argument (a struct smb_mount_data) to the mount system call.
