I want to upgrade a server I have to Redhat 8.0. The current server is a Compaq DL360. To make the upgrade easy I was going to build the server on new disks using another DL360 and then just transfer the drives over this weekend once it's up and running. That way I can always fall back to my old drives if something unexpected happens. Problem is all I have available is a G2 DL360. I think the array controllers are slightly different in these two models, not sure what else is.
