No, up2date -u doesn't work either. Just tried it now. Same dependency errors.

I currently have the following packages installed on my system, which are the basic packages I obtained when I upgraded to Redhat 7.2 from 6.2 early last year:

galeon-0.11.3-2;
gdk-pixbuf-0.11.0-8;
gdk-pixbuf-gnome-0.11.0-8;
mozilla-0.9.2.1-2;
mozilla-chat-0.9.2.1-2;
mozilla-mail-0.9.2.1-2;
package mozilla-nspr is not installed;
package mozilla-nss is not installed;
mozilla-psm-0.9.2.1-2;
nautilus-1.0.4-43;
nautilus-mozilla-1.0.4-43

As suggested by Emmanuel Seyman in a posting yesterday, I uploaded the above rpms from the 7.2 cdrom in a directory that also contains the new mozilla and galeon packages that I obtained by running synchronized up2date from RHN and issued

rpm -Uvh <packages-I-have-now> <packages-that-are-required>.

Still the same dependency problem.

Something intermediate is missing here, I believe. The jump from mozilla-0.9.2.1-2 to mozilla-1.0.1-2.7.2.i386.rpm is missing a required step, which is I can't figure out what.

Thanks for responding. Appreciate all your help.

Why not just run up2date -u? Doesn't that work?
