I have decided to go with shorewallon a box I will be putting up tonight or tomorrow. I like the zone concept since I am implementing a dmz on a third interface and have multiple vpns to manage as well. I have mad it through the doc and think I understand it but I guess we will see here in a couple of hours (barring any additional unforseen developments :). I let you know how it goes if you like.
