Alas, no. That was one of many --nopeds, --force etc things I tried, but all
result in:

# rpm -Uvh --force glibc-2.3.1-36.i686.rpm glibc-kernheaders-2.4-8.3.i386.rpm \
glibc-devel-2.3.1-36.i386.rpm
Preparing...                ########################################### [100%]
cannot handle file 'libc.so.6' with TLS data
#
