We bought a Samsung ML1210 here at work.  It's a "winprinter" but works
great with Linux.  I think it cost us like $199 at Fry's and included 2
toner cartridges.  Fast printing, adequate quality (I think only
600dpi).  We've had it for close to a year and haven't had a problem.
