I have a single 30GB drive that is getting full. I want to put in a second larger hard drive and duplicate the first one, then remove the first drive and replace it with the new larger drive.
I'm worried that this first drive contains the operating system. Can it be duplicated while it is mounted and active? Can do this with dd?
