Kevin,

I am far from an expert in this manner. I was seeing a similar thing
happening with my own server. Using the 'top' utility, I didn't see any
process gobbling up memory, even over time. The largest process that I
had was and still is Squid, which sits at a nice 17M of usage.

The rest of the processes come and go as users logon and off the PDC
this server also acts as.

My baseline memory usage is just about 1GB of memory. It stays
consistent at that for at least 69 days. (My last uptime, taken down for
hardware maintenance not any other reason.)

The most of the memory being used is being used as a buffer roughly
208MB and as Cache roughly 600 MB. Which leaves virtually all of the
memory being used on the server accounted for.

You are probably experiencing a similar usage of memory. I also
typically show no swap file usage, although it does creep up to 12MB and
I am unsure why it has done so, since there is always 12MB of RAM shown
as free in 'top'.

Does anyone have more information to add here?

Subject: Memory Leak

Hi All,
I was looking at my memory usage today and I noticed that I'm using
almost all of my memory! I have 1.5 Gb of RAM in my server and that
should be plenty. I then rebooted to see if I had a running process that
was eating it all up. When the system came up fresh it was only using
120Mb of RAM. I'm now seeing the RAM used going up and up everyday.
Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Here is my list of running processes
