Have you tried installing the pdksh RPM? This is a public domain clone of the Korn shell. It has been provided on the Red Hat CD's since 7.2 I believe. I'm not sure on which CD the package resides, but you can always download it from your favorite Red Hat mirror.
Hope this helps, Andy. -----Original Message----- From: Anthony J. The problem I get is when I boot up into init runlevel 5. For some reason, it doesn't source my .profile and/or my .kshrc files. I renamed the old default .bash_profile and .bashrc to end in .old just in case they were getting sourced first anyway. I guess they weren't. The funny thing is that everything works perfectly if i boot into runlevel 3 from the start. I would prefer to boot into rl5 so if anyone has a solution to fix it it would be greatly appreciated. -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=unsubscribe https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=unsubscribe https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
