You need to read the comments to see what's going on. This bug is closed because it's a duplicate. If you follow the link at the bottom to the dup (77467), that one is still listed as ASSIGNED. There's a comment dated in November from Jakub (glibc maintainer) that the RPMs in Rawhide fix this bug for 8.0, but they were holding them until another issue is fixed. Apparently, they still aren't out yet... The Rawhide glibc is currently 2.3.1-35. I don't know what it was in November or whether upgrading to this one will break anything.
