Kudzu (I think) may have deleted the link if it couldn't find your CD-ROM. I know this happens to me sometimes if I boot with my external SCSI CD-ROM turned off (the link to where it was disapears). Try something like 'mount /dev/hdd /mnt/cdrom' (make /mnt/cdrom as necessary) > This is the most disturbing as I can't seem to figure out what took place > overnight to make it "disappear."
