I found a pretty good site with all the files via FTP from a local mirror
site (instead of ID's page). There is some other quake stuff there as
well. Go to :-

And scroll down the page a little. You will see it :)

p.s You probably already know this, but you will also need the full copy
of Quake2 on CD as well to copy some of the files over.
