In /etc/X11/XF86Config, you'll have a section similar to the following: Subsection "Display" Depth 16 Modes "1280x1024" "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480" EndSubsection When you start X in 1024x768, the virtual size will be 1280x1024. Moving your mouse pointer to the edge of the screen should cause the screen to scroll, and the remainder of the screen will be seen. To prevent this, remove the 1280x1024 portion of the mode line in the config file. - -- - -Michael pgp key: http://www.tuxfan.homeip.net:8080/gpgkey.txt Red Hat Linux 7.{2,3}|8.0 in 8M of RAM: http://www.rule-project.org/ - -- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+JLiSn/07WoAb/SsRAr8wAJ4ssn8e1DXgw569ve39ig1YMpmtfgCeOcgv 4iavQrSifKLoxcy0tVtmxuE= =+z7g -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=unsubscribe https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
