I suggest you use MailScanner with F-Prot.  F-Prot is significantly
cheaper for commercial use (it's free for personal use) than other virus
scanners.  I believe F-Prot charges by server instead of the per user fees
of the others.  It's updated serveral times a week and it works!

MailScanner integrates seamlessly with sendmail/Exim and will use any of a
dozen virus scanners including Sophos, F-Prot, McAfee, etc.  As a bonus
MailScanner will also do spam scanning especially if you have spamassassin
installed.

All of the above are easy to install and configure.  F-Prot has been
picking off this damn [EMAIL PROTECTED] message including the Sobig virus on my
server for the last couple of days.
