I have redhat linux 3, I just intalled a perl script pubcrawler.pl in /usr/local/pubcrawler. I want every user to be able to use it. therefore i set a path in /ect/profile. but for some reason i can not restart the server. how can let the change take effect? i tried "source /ect/profile" but it did not work any help will be greatly appreciated!
