Hello!! Has anybody successfully configured mars_nwe to work with DOS clients (I hope, someone did :)) ). My DOS clients are having difficulty to maintain a connection to the server. That is while being connected I try to copy files from the server and for a while it goes well, but then the copying process hangs (no matter what tools I use for it) and after the timeout period the station reports that it has lost connection to the server and that the network drive is no longer valid. When I execute programs residing on the server they hang immediately. However when I boot this same machine into Win98 everything seems to work fine. I have not noticed any interrupt conflicts under DOS either.
Novell Netware client version: hard to tell (at least for me), VLM.EXE`s version is 1.20 Red Hat Linux 7.2 mars_nwe version: mars_nwe-0.99.pl20-4 settings in net.cfg file: ----------------------------------------- Link Driver SIS900 FRAME Ethernet_II Netware DOS Requster FIRST NETWORK DRIVE F NETWARE PROTOCOL BIND NDS Protocol IPX IPX SOCKETS 40 ----------------------------------------- I`ll appreciate your suggestions and comments.
