I've never seen these messages before, but I have a couple of questions: 1. What is the qla2x00 module? I have qla2200 and qla2300, but no qla2x00. 2. Is 2.4.18 a custom kernel or RedHat supplied? 3. Why bother using the "--with" argument and just add that module to your /etc/modules.conf. mkinitrd will catch it without being told explicitly to add it. (ie, if you add "scsi_hostadapter qla2200" to modules.conf)
