Thanks for the reply.  I actually just found a workaround: Disable the
onboard Ethernet.  So far, that let me install it.  Strange, as it didn't
conflict with anything (and a previous W2K install had it working).

I haven't had a chance to boot it up yet after the install.  Once I do that,
if it boots successfully, I will try to re-enable it, and perhaps kudzu will
pick it up.

I'll let you know how that goes.  Also, I may try to re-install.  If I do,
I'll try the no-usb option.  (In fact, I can do that without completely
re-installing, so I will try it).

I'll report back after doing so.
