StarOffice 4.0 on my RedHat 5.0 system freezes up fairly regularly, when I switch virtual screens with FVWM. If I start StarOffice, run it, use it, &etc without ever switching virtual FVWM screens, it works fine. If I switch virtual screens, often it will freeze. That is, I'll return to the virtual screen where StarOffice was displayed, and only the window manager outline of the window will repaint. Nothing that I do will get StarOffice to wake up again, so I have to kill it. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix/workaround (other than never switching virtual screens)?
