I would like to record audio from my sound card straight to MP3 files if I can. I guess I can do it in two steps, but I'm hoping it can be done in one.
I tried a program called Audacity that looked like it would work, but it seems to crash at the strangest times, even when viewing the help files. This is a Red Hat 7.3 Athlon 650 system.
