failed dependencies while trying to install with RPM

Dear everybody:

I have tried to install tetex-xdvi... from both the web and from disk. Either way, I get the error:

error: failed dependencies:

Then RPM lists about 22 libraries upon which xdvi is dependent.

Is there a switch I can add to rpm -i so the libraries upon which xdvi is dependent can be automatically installed by rpm?
