Building gcc32

I have a fairly generic install of RedHat 8.0.  I want to build gcc32 from source.  So, I downloaded and installed the source RPM for gcc32 and tried doing a rpmbuild -ba gcc32.spec.  However, the build keeps on failing.  Has anyone successfully compiled gcc32 with RedHat 8.0?  If so, I would appreciate any pointers on how to get it done.   Thanks in advance for your help, --Moby
