Hello,

Does /etc/resolv.conf have the proper name server references? How are your
routes setup? Do traceroute and/or ping return the expected results?

Best Regards,

an internet connection using an external modem to connect to my ISP. I can
connect to my ISP, but I cannot veiw web pages due to name reolution errors.
I have checked my modem hardware "properties" and the ISP's DNS server
addresses are showing up. So I am at a loss.
