I would like to learn PHP. I was reading on the PHP website that there is a problem with the version of apache that ships with RH 8.0. However, since then a new version of PHP has been released which I'm guessing has solved the problems with apache 2.x.
My questions are: Is the 'stock' apache with RH 8.0 compiled for php support? Is it a module that needs to be put in the httpd.conf? Is there a new php rpm available any where? Any info on how to get php support/running would be helpful. Also any good basic/dummy documentaion/books anyone can recommend, would be greatly appreciated.
