Howdy all......:-)

Running RedHat 5 here and am trying to get the Linux Java v1.1.5 runtime setup on my
system. Seems no matter what Java program I try to run, the runtime always spits out
the
following error message:

SIGSEGV  11*  segmentation violation
<other info omitted for brevity>
Aborted (core dumped)

I'm having problems trying to track down information on whether or not some files need
to
be upgraded from the base RedHat install (or for that matter, if in fact the problem
quoted
above is indeed related to out-dated files, in the first place.)

Any info you could send my way that would shed some light on this problem would be
much
appreciated............thanks! :-)
