I'm now getting the following messages when booting after installing a
couple of packages form the redhat errata page. (I'm also getting those
net-pf3 module error messages - the alias off thing in /etc/conf.modules
hasn't solved it). The packages were involved quota and something else (I
know I
should have written them down - and yes I feel like an idiot for not
having done so)
These are the messages:
Apr 4 17:14:39 localhost mountd[230]: unable to register (mountd, 1, udp).
Apr 4 17:14:39 localhost nfsd[238]: unable to register (nfsd, 2, udp).
and I promise that from now on I'll make a note of the changes I make to
my system, but any help with this problem would be much appreciated.
