if you want login names like user@one_domain and user@another_domain then I think your only option is courier. I use cyrus(cyrus 1.5), but it uses normal authentication(tied in with PAM via LDAP). I recieve email for about 65 different email addresses, each email address has a dedicated INBOX. I can access all 65 inboxes using 1 account(via cyrus acls), so I don't have to login 65 times to check all my mail.
