Hi

I'm using Redhat Linux 5.0
My problem is that my internet connection is extremly unstable.
When i boot my machine there is no problem, I can surf the net, but after a
cupple of minutes the connection seems to crash, and I get error-messages
like:

Unknown host in <host-name> (I use the KDE-browser)

First I thought something was wrong with the KDE-browser, but the same
happens when I use netscape, although the error-message is different (don't
remembe what it was).
When I get these errors I can reboot my comp. and then I can surf the net
again for a cupple of minutes, then the same happens again (?)

I have no problem with sending and receiving E-Mail, and reading news from
various news-groups.

I'm connected via a LAN, and doing installation of Linux I configured it
with the:
IP-Address
Gateway
Hostname
DNS
Subnet mask

Can anyone tell me why my connection keeps failing after a few minutes ?
Do i need to do some post-installation configuration?

Thanks
