Please pardon me, as I know this question has come up before. I am running 7.3 with the Kernel 2.4.8-10 and Gnome. When I log into Gnome, the first time, the Usernam and Password is accepted, but then the screen blanks and I am presented witht e login screen again. The second correct login works perfectly.
Annoying but not Life threatening. Does anyone know why????
