Hello everyone...
I've been lurking on this list for a few months now, and I'd just like to
wish you all well...
Anyway, here's my question. I have a Canon BJC-4100 printer. I'm running
Redhat 5.0, and I configured the printer using printtool (which from my
experience isn't really the way to go, those gui configuration-helpers
just ain't cuttin it.) It prints raw ASCII with no problem, but anything
aside from that, i.e., postscript, it prints a series of indecipherable
(at least for me) code. At the beginning of this stream of nonsense is
the message: "Unrecoverable error: rangecheck in .putdeviceprops." Any
clue how I can properly configure this printer? BTW - I have Alladin
Ghostscript 5.0 installed.
Thanks!
