I don't know what to say... I reinstalled, again, and paid extremely close attention to the networking info I was plugging in. When it rebooted after the install, I got the same result - unable to ping anything other than myself. So, I re-re-reinstalled, this time botting from the install floppy versus the CD, went through all the same steps, entered in all the same info. Rebooted...VOILA! Network, ahoy! Is this a bug, with regard to the hardware I am using? Anyone ever heard of this???
