This is only loosely associated with Linux but thus far I have failed to
gain help elsewhere. Hopefully, there are some OS/2 users in this group
who can help me out?
I have recently installed XFree86 for OS/2 as well as emxrt. The XFree86
version is 3.3.1 and emx is 0.99c with fix 4. All seems well in that I
can run the "checkinstall" program and it tells me that I am configured
properly to run. When I run "startx" I get a short list of errors and
then it just craps out. I have attached an error.log generated in this
process...me thinks it is tied to my networking connection. I use a modem
and am not tied to a network all the time. I do not seem to have any docs
to tell me how to set this us so that it can run as a standalone
workstation.
Can anyone here help me out? Give me pointers?
