Web mirror programs?

Hi all.  I found `mirror', which is a perl script used to sync data from one
machine to another, but only uses ftp, that I know of.

I'd like to use ssh to sync my web servers.  Is rsync stable enough to use yet? 
Are people typically using rdist+ssh?
