Hi all!
I've set up leased line between my RH5 Linux box and our central
BSD-based server. I've use:
#slattach -l -s 115200 -p slip /dev/cua1 &
#ifconfig sl0 ........
#route add ...
#route add default gw ....
After that everything works fine, but after the line drop i've lost the
sl0,
and must redo all of pointed above. (Under BSD in this time all remains
unchanged and after reconnect works immediately).
slattach isn't in RH distribution, so i forced to use one from old
slackware.
May be some of my work is bad?
What i must use instead of slattach under RH?
How to get sl interface independing from the state of the leased line
(i've use -l option!!!)?
Any info would be appreciated.
Sergey.
