I have been toying with the idea of setting up a majordomo server, but not
knowing a whole lot about it (time to learn) I had a couple of questions
before diving into it.
First if one does not have a permanent connection to the Internet nor a
registered domain name, is this possible? Since this would be running from
my home system is there another app (or better way) that this might work?
My intention is to service a small group of users for a particular subject
and distribute any comments/questions to the rest of the group. To do this
I would dial into my ISP at regular intervals to pick up and deliver any
mail to the group. The number of comments/questions would probably be
pretty low overhead.
I would certainly be interested in any suggestions on the best approach.
Oh, BTW it will be running on RH4.2. Thanks.
