RedHat and Co.,

I have just bought a Boca Research io650 card which gives me two
serial ports which run as high as 460Kbps. I want to use this card in
230Kbps mode with my ISDN modem in multi link mode to attain
the highest possible rates on my modem. When I run my isdn modem
in Win95 using my io650 card at 230Kbps I get rates well above 12Kbytes/sec.
When I run my modem at 115Kbps my rates top out 10.5Kbytes/sec.
In anycase, after reading the serial.c driver, it looks to me
like I need to run the 2.1.X version of linux in order to get
my io650 card to run beyond 115Kbps. This also means that I need
a newer version of set serial which will allow me to use the command
'setserial /dev/cua0 spd_shi' which I believe will set my card
in 230Kbps. So my question to redhat is: Is there a version of
setserial which handles the command 'setserial /dev/cua0 spd_shi'?
I've pulled over the setserial source rpm and I'm about to
plunge in and hack the code, but I don't want to do so if someone
else has already done this work. If I do this hacking, I would like
it to be included in future releases of setserial. So, any
advice on this before I hack away?

Steve.
