For linux:
Edit the following scripts to appear somthing as mine.
#/etc/hosts
192.168.0.2
whatever_you_called_your_linux_machine.whatever_fake_domain_your_using.com
192.168.0.3 indy.whatever_fake_domain_your_using.com
#/etc/sysconfig/network
NETWORKING=yes
#FORWARD_IPV4=yes
HOSTNAME=linux.dan-hender.com
DOMAINNAME=dan-hender.com
#GATEWAY=192.168.0.254
#GATEWAYDEV=eth0
#/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
DEVICE=eth0
IPADDR=192.168.0.2
NETMASK=255.255.255.0
NETWORK=192.168.0.0
BROADCAST=192.168.0.255
ONBOOT=yes
BOOTPROTO=none
For Win95.
Right click on the networking Icon on your desktop, make sure the network
card is setup without any errors, add protocol tcpip (should be there now,
make sure it there for the card aswell)
Edit tcpip/network card, add IP 192.168.0.3, netmask 255.255.255.0. Add
gateway 192.168.0.2. Inable DNS and call your win95 system something like
"indy". Thats what I use. Click OK.
In the main network window click on Identification and again enter "indy"
or whatever your using.
That 'should' do it.
