I don't know about the MS thing, but ever since I upgraded Netscape to
4.03 and my libc to libc.so.5.4.38 my Netscape has been rock solid.
Here is my ldd output for netscape-dynMotif:
libXm.so.1.2 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXm.so.1.2.4
libXt.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXt.so.6.0
libSM.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libSM.so.6.0
libICE.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libICE.so.6.0
libXmu.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXmu.so.6.0
libXpm.so.4 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXpm.so.4.6
libXext.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXext.so.6.0
libX11.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.so.6.0
libdl.so.1 => /lib/libdl.so.1.7.14
libc.so.5 => /lib/libc.so.5.4.38
libg++.so.27 => /usr/lib/libg++.so.27.1.0
libstdc++.so.27 => /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.27.1.0
libm.so.5 => /lib/libm.so.5.0.9
Hmm, I remember I also patched my /lib/ld-linux.so.1.7.14 with a patch that
allows for larger tables. That might also have something to do with it. I
can't remember now where I got the patch.
